Welcome to the Asheville Area Birth Network web site. We are a network of parents, advocates, and birth professionals who are committed to mother/baby friendly practices.
Asheville Area Birth Network serves the Western North Carolina community in many ways. Our primary objective is to provide resources and support to birthing families. We do that through a comprehensive online resource guide of practitioners and vendors who serve pregnant women. AABN also coordinates outreach events throughout the year, which may include film screenings, panel discussions, and educational seminars. See our Events calendar for listings.
AABN hosts monthly meetings as a discussion and support group for families interested in exploring all options available for birth and parenting. We strive to support each other while sharing resources that contribute to knowledge and understanding of choices.
